Prayers to God
Troparion, tone 4

Speedy in intercession is the One, Christ, / show speedy visitation from above to your suffering servants (to your suffering servant, to your suffering servant), / and deliver from ailments and bitter illnesses;/ and raise up thee in praise and glorify you unceasingly,// with the prayers of the Mother of God, the One Lover of Mankind.

Kontakion, voice 2

On the bed of sickness (lying) and wounded (wounded) with a mortal wound, / just as you sometimes raised up, O Savior, Peter’s mother-in-law, / and the weakened one, on the bed of the wearer, / and now, O Merciful One, visit and heal the afflicted:/ You alone bear the ailments and illnesses of our generation, // and are all mighty, for You are Most Merciful.

Prayer 1, before the icon of the Savior, Healer of the Paralytic

Good Lover of Mankind, most merciful Lord, who bore our ailments and healed us with Your wounds! Before Your Majesty, we slavishly fall down and humbly pray: look, O Compassionate One, upon Your servants, and just as You healed the weakened man of old, who had been lying sick for thirty-eight years, so even now, O good healer, visit Your servants with Your mercy and bounties.

You said to the weakened people of old: Arise, take up your bed and walk. Likewise, we, sinners and unworthy Thy servants, relying on Thy Divine words, humbly falling before Thy Majesty, touchingly ask Thy Divine mercy and ineffable love for mankind: open to us the doors of Thy mercy and forgive all our sins, voluntary and involuntary, in the image of Thy goodness we have angered and Your philanthropy is an irritation; heal our sinful illness; transform our mental and physical illnesses into health, transform our infirmities into strength, transform our sorrows into joy and transform our sorrows into consolation; Take away from us all despondency and oblivion; Strengthen our mind and keep it whole, so that we can always learn from Your commandments; Correct all our lives, to do Your good and perfect will.

For You are a good healer, an uplifter for the weak, a physician for the sick, a healer for the sick, a guardian of health for the healthy, and we send up glory to You, with Your Beginning Father, and with Your Most Holy and Good and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Prayer 2

Master, Almighty, Holy King, punish and do not kill, strengthen those who fall and raise up the overthrown, correct the afflictions of bodily people, we pray to Thee, our God, Visit Your weak servant (name) with Your mercy, forgive him every sin, voluntary and involuntary.

Hey, Lord, send down Your healing power from Heaven, touch the body, extinguish the fire, tame passion and all lurking weakness, be the doctor of Your servant (name), raise him up from from the sickness and from the bed of embitterment, whole and all-perfect, grant it to Your Church, pleasing and doing Your will.

For it is Yours to have mercy and save us, our God, and to You we send glory, to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Prayers to the Blessed Virgin Mary
Troparion, tone 4

Let us now be diligent to the Mother of God, sinners and humility, and let us fall down in repentance calling from the depths of our souls: Lady, help us, having had mercy on us, struggling, we are perishing from the multitude sins, do not turn away your vain servants, for you and the only hope of the imams.

To you, O All-Merciful One, was given from the Almighty grace to intercede for everyone and deliver them from sorrow and illness, for you yourself endured the most severe sorrow and illness, looking at The free suffering of Your beloved Son and Him on the cross was crucified to behold, when the weapon Simeon foretold of Your heart passed through.

Moreover, O beloved Mother of children, listen to the voice of our prayer, console us in the sorrow of those who exist, as a faithful Intercessor of joy: standing before the throne of the Most Holy Trinity, at the right hand You can ask Your Son, Christ our God, if you wish, for everything useful to us. For this reason, with heartfelt faith and love from the soul, we fall before You as the Queen and Lady, and we dare to cry out to You in psalms: Hearing, O Daughter, and seeing, and inclining your ear Yours, hear our prayer, and deliver us from current troubles and sorrows; You fulfill the requests of all the faithful, who bring joy to those who mourn, and give peace and consolation to their souls.

See our misfortune and sorrow: show us Your mercy, send comfort to our hearts wounded by sadness, show and surprise us sinners with the wealth of mercy Yours, give us tears of repentance for the cleansing of our sins and the quenching of the wrath of God, so that with a pure heart, good conscience and undoubted hope we may resort to Your intercession and intercession.

Accept, Lady Theotokos, the tearful prayers of Your servants who flow to You. We see You in the holy icon, carrying and nourishing Your Son and our God, the Lord Jesus Christ, with milk. Even though you gave birth to Him painlessly, even though the mother bears the weight of sorrow and infirmity of the sons and daughters of men, zrishi.

With the same warmth falling on Your whole-hearted image and tenderly kissing, we pray to You, All-Merciful Lady: we sinners, condemned in the pains of childbirth and in sorrows Nourish our children, mercifully spare and compassionately intercede, and deliver our babies, as well as the one who gave birth to them, from a serious illness and bitter sorrow. Grant them health and well-being, and their nourishment will increase from strength to strength, and those who feed them will be filled with joy and consolation, as even now through Your intercession from the mouth of babes and the Lord will bring forth His praise to those who piss.

Oh, Mother of the Son of God! Have mercy on the mother of the sons of men and on Your weak people: quickly heal the illnesses that befall us, quench the sorrows and sorrows that are upon us, and do not despise the tears and the sighs of Your servants. Hear us on the day of sorrow who fall before Your icon, and on the day of joy and deliverance accept the grateful praise of our hearts.

Amen.

Prayer to Saint and Wonderworker Nicholas

Oh, our good shepherd and God-wise mentor, Saint Nicholas of Christ! Hear us sinners (names), praying to you and calling for your quick intercession for help; see us weak, caught from everywhere, deprived of every good and darkened in mind from cowardice; Try, O saint of God, not to leave us in sinful captivity, so that we may not joyfully be our enemies and not die in our evil deeds.

Pray for us, unworthy of our Creator and Master, to whom you stand with the disembodied faces: be merciful to us by our God in this life and in the future, so that He will not reward us according to our deeds and according to the impurity of our hearts, but according to his goodness he will reward us.

We trust in your intercession, we boast of your intercession, we call upon your intercession for help, and we fall to your most holy image for help: deliver us, saint of Christ, from evils coming upon us, and tame the waves of passions and troubles that rise against us, so that for the sake of your holy prayers they will not attack us and we will not sink into the abyss of sin and in the mud of our passions.

Pray to Saint Nicholas of Christ, Christ our God, that He will grant us a peaceful life and remission of sins, and salvation and great mercy for our souls, now and ever and unto the ages centuries. Amen.

Prayer to the holy great martyr and healer Panteleimon

Holy great martyr and healer Panteleimon, merciful imitator of God! Look with kindness and hear us, sinners, praying earnestly before your holy icon.

Ask us from the Lord God, who stands before Him with the Angels in Heaven, for the forgiveness of our sins and transgressions. Heal the mental and physical illnesses of the servants of God who are now remembered, those who are coming here and all Orthodox Christians who come to your intercession. Behold, because of our fierce sins we are possessed by many ailments and are not imams of help and consolation, but we resort to you, for you have given the grace to pray for us and heal every ailment and every illness.

Grant then to all of us, through your holy prayers, health and well-being of souls and bodies, advancement of faith and piety, and everything necessary for temporary life and salvation. For yes, having been granted great and rich mercies by you, let us glorify you and the giver of all blessings, wondrous in the saints, our God, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Prayer to the holy righteous Simeon the God-Receiver

O great saint of God and God-receiving Simeon! Standing before the Throne of the great King and our God Jesus Christ, with great boldness I have come to Him, in your arms we will rush for the sake of salvation. To you, as a much-powerful representative and a strong prayer book for us, we, sinners and unworthy, resort.

Pray for His goodness, that He may turn away His anger from us, righteously moving against us according to our deeds, and, having despised our countless sins, turn us to the path of repentance and to the paths of His commandments will confirm us. Protect our life in peace with your prayers, and ask for all good haste, granting us everything we need for life and piety.

And just as in ancient times Veliky Novgrad, by the appearance of your miraculous icon, delivered you from the destruction of mortals, so now we and all the cities and villages of our country from all misfortunes, troubles, and Deliver sudden deaths through your intercession, and protect from all enemies, visible and invisible, with your protection, and be a stronghold for the entire Russian state, like a quiet and silent life. Let us live in all piety and purity, and so in the world this temporary life has passed, we will achieve eternal peace, where we will be made worthy of the Heavenly Kingdom of Christ our God, Him all glory is due, with the Father and His Most Holy Spirit, now and forever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Prayer to the Holy Infant Martyr Gabriel of Bialystok

Infant gentleness to the guardian and martyr's courage to the bearer, blessed Gabriel, our country's precious adamante and Jewish wickedness to the accuser!

We, sinners, come running to you in prayer and, lamenting our sins and being ashamed of our cowardice, we call to you with love: do not disdain our filth, this purity is our treasure. Do not detest cowardice, long-suffering to the teacher, but more than these, seeing our infirmities from Heaven, grant us healing through your prayer and teach us to be imitators of your fidelity to Christ. If we are not able to patiently bear the cross of temptation and suffering, then even then your merciful help will not deprive us, saint of God, but ask the Lord for freedom and weakness for us.

Also, hear the mothers who pray for their children, and pray for health and salvation for the baby from the Lord. There is no such cruel heart that even hearing about your torment, the holy child, will not be touched, and apart from this tender sigh we can bring no good deed, but and with such a tender thought, enlighten our minds and hearts, O blessed One, to correct our lives by the grace of God.

Instill in us tireless zeal for the salvation of the soul and the glory of God, and help us to keep vigilant memory of the hour of death. Most of all, in our deathly dormition, the demonic torment and thoughts of despair from our souls through your intercession fulfilled this hope of Divine forgiveness, both then and now glorify us the mercy of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit and your strong intercession forever and ever. Amen.
