Day of the Baptism of Rus': Baptismal Liturgy celebrated in Ulyanovsktranslated

On July 28, on the day of remembrance of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, the clergyman of the Resurrection-Germanovsky Church in Ulyanovsk, Archpriest Ilya Kuznetsov, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the co-service of Priest Boris Kokorev, Deacon Grigory Shevchenko.

During the Liturgy in the baptistery of the temple, the Sacrament of Baptism was performed for seven people who had undergone catechetical conversations in the churches of the city.

At the end of the Liturgy, a prayer service was held in honor of the memory of the Baptism of Rus'.

During the service, the choir of the Resurrection-Germanovsky Church sang under the direction of regent Natalya Savelyeva.

Corina StanGlory to God! Seven souls baptized that very day, after so many catechesis in the parishes of Ulyanovsk, is a real joy. The choir led by Natalia Savelieva sang beautifully, as usual. We thank Father Ilie Kuznetsov and the other servants.
