Donation of the Holy Metropolis of Larissa to the group "DI.AS." of EL.AStranslated

In a simple ceremony held today, Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the Larissa Police Station, forty (40) motorcycle helmets, donated by the Holy Metropolis of Larissa and Tyrnavos, were received by the Hellenic Police, which are intended to cover the needs of the Two-Wheel Policing Team (DI.AS.) of the Direct Action Department Larisa.

As part of the event, a consecration was performed by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Larissa and Tyrnavos, Mr. Hieronymos, who addressed the staff with wishes for health, strength and safe performance of their duties.

The General Regional Police Director of Thessaly, Brigadier George Dizes, expressed in the person of the Metropolitan, the warm thanks of the Hellenic Police for this valuable offer, pointing out that the donation essentially contributes to strengthening the security of the personnel who serve on the front line every day.
