July 30 in the church of the Blgv. book Yaroslav the Wise at the “Novoye” cemetery in Tiraspol, His Eminence Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary performed the funeral service for the newly deceased servant of God Galina Vasilievna Nikonova. His Eminence was co-served by the rector of the church, Archpriest Stefan Ivolga, and the clergy of the Central Deanery. Her relatives and friends came to say goodbye to the deceased, as well as everyone who had known Galina Vasilievna for many years and shared her work and prayer work. Galina Vasilievna Nikonova was one of the oldest parishioners of the Tiraspol-Dubossary diocese. She stood at the origins of the Vladimir Orthodox community in Tiraspol, from which the parish of the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ was subsequently formed. For many decades, the deceased worked with sincere love and zeal for the good of the Holy Church, showing others an example of deep faith, piety and service to God and others. After the funeral service, the coffin with the body of the newly deceased, with the blessing of the Ruling Bishop, taking into account the many years of work of Galina Vasilievna for the benefit of the Tiraspol-Dubossary diocese, was interred not far from the church of the Blessed Virgin Mary. book...
