Patriarch Daniel consecrated the reliquary for the relics of Saints Nazaria, Olimpiada and Elisabeta, from Văratectranslated

His Beatitude Father Patriarch Daniel consecrated on Monday the reliquary in which the relics of Saints Pious Nazaria, Olimpiada and Elisabeta (Safta) Brâncoveanu, from Văratec, will be placed. The service took place in the historic "St. M. Martyr Gheorghe" Chapel of the Patriarchal Residence.

The silver chalice was made at the carving workshop of the Pasărea Monastery within the Workshops of the Romanian Patriarchate, being decorated with the icons of the three saints and scenes from their lives.

The service was attended by archim. Dionisie Constantin, patriarchal adviser, coordinator and director of the Workshops of the Biblical and Orthodox Mission Institute of the Romanian Patriarchate, Stavrophora Iosefina Giosanu, abbess of the Văratec Monastery, accompanied by nuns from the community of the monastic settlement, as well as other clerics.

His Beatitude presented the life of the three saints, emphasizing the hesychastic dimension of the monastery where they lived.
