It's not bad that the pope is calling the young not to give in to fear, that's fine. But when he says "touch the suffering body of another", I wonder how many of them in Assisi actually go to a hospital or nursing home after mass, and not just take a selfie in front of the church. At least here in Nis, we know it from the glory - you help your neighbor and only then eat.

Yeah, the call to get past fear makes sense, but that "touch the suffering flesh" line is the real test. I wonder how many of those kids actually went and sat with the sick or elderly in Assisi after the Mass instead of just snapping photos. Here at our parish we try to do hospital visits after liturgy too, though it's never as many hands as we'd like.
