The Archbishop of Canada, Mr. Apostolos, visited the offices of the "National Herald" in Athens on Tuesday afternoon. His Eminence is currently in Greece with his schedule including contacts with representatives of the state and the Church of the country.

The Archbishop of Athens and all Greece, Mr. Hieronymos received on Tuesday morning, in a ceremonial visit, the newly elected Archbishop of Canada Mr. Apostolos.

At the entrance of the Archdiocese of Athens, he was received by the Protosygello, the Theophilus Bishop of Christoupolis, Mr. Varnavas. Immediately after, His Beatitude welcomed the newly elected Archbishop in a warm and cordial atmosphere, congratulating him on his election, wishing God to grant him health, strength and every blessing in the performance of his high pastoral ministry.

His Eminence warmly thanked His Beatitude for the hospitable welcome and his wishes, assuring him at the same time that he will work with devotion for the spiritual progress of the flock entrusted to him by the Church.
