Presentation of the book "The Dress of Freedom"translated

The Holy Metropolis of Corinth invites all those who are interested in the history and spiritual tradition of our place, to the presentation of the book by Stefanos Dorparakis entitled "The dress of freedom", which will take place on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 20:00, in the forecourt of the Holy Church of the Transfiguration of Sotiros Kiatos. The work is a special tribute to the hero of EOKA Grigoris Auxentiou and to the blessed Elder Chrysanthos Mahairiotis, Founder of the Holy Hermitage of Agios Panteleimonos Xylokastro, highlighting the meeting of historical memory with Orthodox spirituality.

Dimitrios Athanasiou, Teacher - Theologian and Sofia Koutsouri-Dormaparaki, Philologist will talk about the book, illuminating both the literary, historical and spiritual dimension of the work.

The event, which is under the auspices of the I. Metropolis of Corinth, will be accompanied by musical performances of traditional songs, offering the public a comprehensive experience of memory, culture and spiritual reflection.
