Support of the Region of Crete for the restoration of I.N. Agios Antonios in Kastelli Pediadostranslated

The support of the Region of Crete for the completion of the restoration works of the central parish church of Agios Antonios in Kastelli Pediados, was expressed by the Regional Governor of Crete, Stavros Arnautakis, during a meeting with representatives of local agencies. As pointed out at the meeting, the parish and the church council have already advanced to a significant extent the restoration work of the earthquake-damaged church with their own resources. After exhausting the available resources, the assistance of the District was requested. Stavros Arnautakis pledged that the Region of Crete will help and contribute practically to the effort, in order to complete the project in the historical and central temple of the region.

Deputy Regional Governor Giorgos Pitsoulis, Deputy Regional Governor of Heraklion Nikos Syrigonakis and Regional Councilor George Papadakis participated in the meeting with the Regional Governor of Crete.
