In the camps of Agios Gervasios, Patrastranslated

The holy work of our Holy and God-bearing father Gervasios, of Patras, continues in the sensitive field of youth, in which he exceptionally worked, the sanctified teacher of Patras. A multitude of elementary, middle school and high school children and students, boys and girls, in separate periods, enjoy the love and blessing of our local Church, in the blessed place that Saint Gervasios watered with his sweat, where his tomb is located and his graceful relics are kept.

The head of the camps is the Herald of the Holy Metropolis, Archim. Gervasios Parakentes, who together with Deacon Gervasios and other collaborators, are also responsible for the operation of the Holy Pilgrimage.

The camps were visited by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Patras, Mr. Chrysostomos, who sent a prayer to the Holy Church of Agia Paraskevi, where the beautiful relics of Saint Gervasios are enshrined, spoke to the children with fatherly love and blessed the bank.
