Kitiou Nektarios in the Archdiocese of Thyatiratranslated

The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kiti, Mr. Nektarios, on Sunday 26 and Monday 27 July 2026 at the invitation of the Most Reverend Archbishop of Thyateira and Great Britain, Mr. Nikitas, officiated and preached at the celebratory church of Agios Panteleimon and Agia Paraskevi Harrow, in London. On Sunday, the Most Reverend officiated with the priestly head of the church, Archimandrite Apostolos Triphyllis, and Archdeacon Georgios Tsourous.

On Sunday afternoon he officiated during the vespers of the feast of Agios Panteleimon. On Monday, he celebrated with the bishops of Ilio, Mr. Raphael, of Claudiopoleos, Mr. Iakovos, and clergy of the parish.

The Archbishop of Thyateira was present at the holy platform praying.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Metropolitan of Kiti thanked the Archbishop for the invitation, but also the Community of Agios Panteleimon and Agia Paraskevi for their Abrahamic hospitality.

It was good that both of them met together at the liturgy. I especially liked that Metropolitan Nektarios thanked Parikia for his Abrahamic hospitality - we often lack such simple warmth. How wonderful that Cyprus and Tuateira continue to interact like this.
