Report from Samara-GIS about the premiere of the film “Where the Happy Live. Iversky Monastery in Samara"translated

The Samara-GIS TV channel aired a special report dedicated to the premiere screening of a documentary about the history and revival of the Iversky Convent that took place on Sofiyskaya Embankment. The published television story features key excerpts from the speeches of the premiere's guests of honor and the filmmakers. Metropolitan Theodosius in his speech emphasized the social significance of the monastic ministry and noted the importance of the revival of the Iveron girls’ gymnasium, which continues the tradition of separate classical education for girls. The author and director of the film, Nadezhda Kosmirova, and the general director of JSC Samara-GIS, Elena Koltsun, shared in an interview the concept of creating the film, revealing the theme of spiritual growth and the importance of faith in the life of a modern person.
