The Ministry of National Science discussed issues of preparation for the republican interreligious forum “For Life. For the family. For the future of Russia"translated

On July 30, 2026, the Ministry of National Policy and Religious Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan held a meeting on preparations for the republican interreligious forum “For Life. For the family. For the Future of Russia,” which will be held this year on the initiative of Archbishop Varlaam of Makhachkala and Derbent.

The preliminary program of the forum was presented by Natalia Lysova, who is responsible for anti-abortion activities in the Makhachkala diocese. It is expected that the forum will be attended by leaders and representatives of traditional religions, specialists in the field of reproductive health, students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of the republic.

The discussion was attended by Deputy Head of the Department of Religious Affairs of the Ministry of National Science of the Republic of Dagestan Shamil Nazhmudinov, Secretary of the Makhachkala Diocese Priest Pavel Kalikin, and employee of the Department of Interaction with Religious Organizations of the Ministry of National Science of the Republic of Dagestan Ksenia Sakhnova.
