If a presbyter or deacon, having despised his bishop, separated from the Church, began to organize private meetings, set up an altar, and at the same time, when the bishop called him, did not submit to him and did not want to obey and obey, although the bishop called him once and twice, then let him be completely expelled and can no longer be allowed to serve or enjoy his honor. If he persistently disturbs the Church and causes unrest in it, then correct him with the help of external authority as a rebel.

Εἴ τις πρεσβύτερος, ἢ διάκονος, καταφρονήσας τοῦ ἰδίου ἐπισκόπου, ἀφώρισεν ἑαυτὸν τῆς ἐκκλησίας, καὶ ἰδίᾳ συνήγαγε, καὶ θυσιαστήριον ἔστησε, και, τοῦ ἐπισκόπου προσκαλεσαμένου, ἀπειθοίη, καὶ μὴ βούλοιτο αὐτῷ πείθεσθαι, μηδὲ ὑπακούειν καὶ πρῶτον καὶ δεύτερον καλοῦντι, τοῦτον καθαιρεῖσθαι παντελῶς, καὶ μηκέτι θεραπείας τυγχάνειν, μηδὲ δύνασθαι λαμβάνειν τὴν ἑαυτοῦ τιμήν. Εἰ δὲ παραμένοι θορυβῶν καὶ ἀναστατῶν τὴν ἐκκλησίαν, διὰ τῆς ἔξωθεν ἐξουσίας ὡς στασιώδη αὐτὸν ἐπιστρέφεσθαι.
