About unfulfilled prodigal thoughts.
If someone, having desired a woman, intends to have intercourse with her, but his desire (ἡ ἐπιθύμησις) is not fulfilled in reality, it is obvious that he has been delivered by grace.

Ἐὰν πρόθηταί τις, ἐπιθυμήσας γυναικός, συγκαθευδῆσαι μετ᾽ αὐτῆς, μὴ ἔλθῃ δὴ εἰς ἔργον αὐτοῦ ἡ ἐνθύμησις, φαίνεται ὅτι ὑπὸ τῆς χάριτος ἐῤῥύσθη.
