About penance for those convicted of sin.
If a catechumen entering the church and standing in the rank of catechumens sins (ἁμαρτάνῃ), then if he is one of those who bow the knee, let him pass into the ranks of those who hear, having ceased from sin. If he does not stop sinning even in the rank of those who listen, let him be expelled.

Κατηχούμενος, ἐὰν εἰσερχόμενος εἰς Κυριακόν, ἐν τῇ τῶν κατηχουμένων τάξει στήκῃ, οὗτος δὲ ἁμαρτάνῃ, ἐὰν μὲν γόνυ κλίνων, ἀκροάσθω μηκέτι ἁμαρτάνων· ἐὰν δὲ καὶ ἀκροώμενος ἔτι ἁμαρτάνῃ, ἐξωθείσθω.
