About the prohibition to set up taverns and trading shops inside the temple fence.
No one should make an inn, or supply various foodstuffs, or make any other purchases inside the sacred enclosures, while maintaining reverence for the churches. For our Savior and God, teaching us by His life in the flesh, commanded us not to make His Father’s house a house of purchase. He also scattered pennies to the penyazhniki, and drove out those who created the holy temple into a worldly place. Therefore, if anyone is convicted of the crime mentioned above, let him be excommunicated.

Ὅτι οὐ χρὴ ἔνδον τῶν ἱερῶν περιβόλων καπηλεῖον, ἢ τὰ διὰ βρωμάτων εἴδη προτιθέναι, ἢ ἑτέρας πράσεις ποιεῖσθαι, τὸ σεβάσμιον τῆς ἐκκλησίας φυλάσσοντας. Ὁ γὰρ Σωτὴρ ἡμῶν καὶ Θεός, διὰ τῆς ἐν σαρκὶ πολιτείας παιδαγωγῶν ἡμᾶς, μὴ ποιεῖν τὸν οἷκον τοῦ Πατρὸς αὐτοῦ ἐμπορίου οἷκον παρεκευλεύσατο· ὃς καὶ τῶν κολλυβιστῶν τὸ κέρμα ἐξέχεε, καὶ τοὺς τὸ ἱερὸν κοινοποιοῦντας ἀπήλασεν. Εἴ τις οὖν ἐπὶ τῷ προκειμένῳ ἁλῷ πλημμελήματι, ἀφοριζέσθω.
