The celebration of Agios Panteleimon in the Metropolis of Kifissia is brillianttranslated

The memory of Saint Panteleimon of Iamatikos was celebrated this year in the celebrating Churches of the Metropolis of Kifissia. On the eve of the holiday, that is on the afternoon of Sunday July 26, 2026, the Great Solemn High Priestly Vespers was held in the celebratory Holy Church of Agios Panteleimonos Paralia Marathon, presided over by His Eminence the Metropolitan of Kifissia, Amarousi, Oropou and Marathon Mr. Kyrillos, assisted by priests of the Metropolis and his deacon.

At the end of the epistles, the ministry of the divine word was entrusted to the Most Reverend Archimandrite Fr. Efstratios Delatolas. In his sermon Fr. Efstratios firstly referred to the life of Saint Panteleimon, the reasons why our Church aptly calls him a miracle worker, then clarifying the importance and value of the miracle according to the teaching of the Fathers, in the life of our Holy Church.

This was followed by the Holy Procession of the Image with the accompaniment of the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra of the Marathonos-Nea Makris Municipality and the Marathonos Volunteer Fire Brigade, and finally the Artoklassia in the Marathonos Beach Square
