Today the Russian Church joyfully rejoices,/ like the mother of her children, glorifying her new martyrs and confessors:/ saints and priests,/ royal passion-bearers, noble princes and princesses,/ venerable men and women and all Orthodox Christians,/ in the days of the godless persecution/ laid down their lives for faith in Christ/ and kept the truth with their blood./ By those intercessions, Long-suffering Lord, preserve our country in Orthodoxy until the end of the age.
Today the New Martyrs of Russia in white robes stand before the Lamb of God/ and the angels sing a song of victory to God:/ blessing, and glory, and wisdom,/ and praise, and honor, and strength, and strength // to our God forever and ever. Amen.
Oh, holy new martyrs and confessors of Russia: saints and shepherds of the Church of Christ, royal passion-bearers, noble princes and princesses, noble warriors, monastics and myrstia, pious men and women, of all ages and classes, who suffered for Christ, who bore witness to His faithfulness even to death, and who received the crown of life from Him! Now, enjoying the paradise of sweetness, you stand before the Throne of God in glory and offer everlasting praise and intercession with the Angels and all the saints to the Triune God. For this reason, we, unworthy ones, pray to you, our holy relatives: do not forget your earthly fatherland, the sin of Cain’s fratricide, the desecration of shrines, godlessness and our iniquities aggravated. Pray to the Lord of Powers that He may establish His Church unshakably in this rebellious and evil world; may he revive in our land the spirit of reason and piety, the spirit of holiness and fear of God, the spirit of brotherly love and peace; May we again be the royal priesthood, the race of God, chosen and holy, ever with you glorifying the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Holy New Martyrs and Confessor of the Russian Church, hear our earnest prayer! We, as children from you, even though we were still young, listened to the passion-bearers of old, and thought in our hearts how kindly and praiseworthy it is to imitate such torment and death will not separate you from the love of God. Well done to you, for you have followed the nature of the faith and patience of those whom you have heard of and loved. And since at any time we may be faced with an unexpected test, ask from the Lord for the gift of courage, which is so useful in living as a human being. Having sanctified all the ends of our fatherland through your suffering, as prayer books are common to all of us, pray to God to deliver His people from the yoke, more terrible than any other. May the schisms in our Church be abolished, may they all be united, and may the Lord bring His workers to the harvest, may the Church not become destitute of good shepherds who have the power to enlighten By the light of the true faith there are so many people who have not been taught the faith or have turned away from the faith.
