Alba: A monument dedicated to heroes was consecrated in the village of Băcăintitranslated

A monument dedicated to the heroes was consecrated on Sunday in the village of Băcăinți in the Șibot commune, Alba county, during the cultural event "Village, chosen hearth".
The event began with the celebration of the Holy Liturgy by a council of clerics in the parish church. Next, the service of Parastas was performed for the priests, church singers, parishioners and the sons of the village who passed on to the Lord.
The central moment of the day was the consecration of the Heroes' Monument, erected in memory of all those who sacrificed their lives on the battlefields. The ceremony was attended by an honor guard consisting of four soldiers, as well as county and local officials, including the president of the Alba County Council, Ion Dumitrel, and the mayor of the Șibot commune, Marinela Oană.
The president of the Alba County Council emphasized the importance of the event for the community: "It was the call that gathered the sons of the Băcăinți village in the Șibot commune at home today."
