The text of the petition and prayer was approved for church-wide liturgical use by the decision of the Holy Synod of March 24, 2022 (journal No. 23).
On the peaceful litany:
Let us pray to the Lord in peace.
Let us pray to the Lord for the merciful thanksgiving and prayer of us, His unworthy servants, to receive His most heavenly altar and graciously have mercy on us.
Let us pray to the Lord not to be disdainful of our thanksgiving, in the humility of our hearts, for the healing through surgical treatment of His gravely ill servant (His sick servant) (name).
Let us pray to the Lord for the voice of the prayer of us, His unworthy servants, to now be heard, and for His grace to unfailingly assist us as physicians who struggle in good works.
May we be delivered from all sorrow:
Intercede, save, have mercy:
Let us commemorate our Most Holy, Most Pure, Most Blessed, Glorious Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary with all the saints, ourselves and each other, and our whole life to Christ our God.
Exclamation: For due to You is all glory, honor and worship of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages.

On the special litany:
Have mercy on us, O God, according to Your great mercy:
Always giving thanks for everyone, to You, the Giver of life, we now offer deep gratitude, as with Your omnipotent right hand, outstretched from heaven, You strengthened the hand of the earthly doctor and made the sick (sick) (name) healthy again, and therefore, in the future, by Your mercy You will not abandon us: we pray to You, hear and have mercy.
For now Thou hast not despised the prayers of Thy servants, O Lord, and with the cutting edge of medicine, for those who have done surgical healing, Thou hast given healing back to the suffering (suffering) one, so continue to correct the works of our hands, done for Thy glory: we pray to Thee, hear and have mercy.
It is auspicious, like a fragrant incense, may our thanks be to You, All-Blessed Master, for the healing of Your seriously ill servant (Thy sick servant) (name), now offered to You, which we will graciously accept, send down packs of Your generosity to Your people, wisdom and strength for the physician, patience for the suffering, for us all health and salvation grant: we pray to You, hear and have mercy.
Lord Jesus Christ, our God, the only True and Most Merciful Physician! You declared through the mouth of Your Apostle Paul, that flesh and blood will not inherit the Kingdom of God; On the other hand, having ineffably become incarnate from the Virgin and descended to earth, you also descended to our bodily infirmities, so that, having been healed in the flesh, we may work for You in spirit. For this reason, today, having enlightened the mind with wisdom and strengthened the hand of Your servant, the doctor (name), you have granted healing to our suffering brother (our sister) (name) with surgical healing. In the same way, we glorify Your ineffable providence for us, we sing of love for mankind and kiss Your mercy with love, which overcomes our sins. To her, Lord, accept this prayer of gratitude, which we offer to You with one mouth and one heart, and when the hour of the universal resurrection comes, grant us to rise in a spiritual body that has no blemish, and to improve the inheritance of Your Kingdom, together with all the saints, proclaiming silent praise to You with Your Beginning Father and Your Most Holy One Spirit forever and ever.
