Having entrusted yourself to God, above all, to your beloved from youth, the venerable one, / You followed him with all your love; / Having counted the corruptible world for nothing, you made a cave into the earth thou art,/ and in it didst struggle well against the invisible enemy of the wiles,/ like a radiant sun shone to all the ends of the earth,/ from drowning, thou passedest rejoicing to the Heavenly Palace./ And Now with the Angels the Master stands before the Throne, / remember us who honor your memory, and let us call you: Hail, Anthony, our father.
Oh, our good shepherd and mentor, the ever-remembered chief of the Russian monks, our reverend and God-bearing Father Anthony! You are a mountain in Heaven, we are below on earth, the being is removed from You not only by place, but by our sinful uncleanness; Remembering your fatherly love for people who are related to you, let us fall down and pray with tenderness and faith: help us, sinners, to be cleansed by repentance and to be worthy of pardon and forgiveness from our Lord and Creator. Beg His goodness to grant us great and rich mercies: fruitfulness of the earth, goodness of the air, deep peace, sincere brotherly love, unfeigned piety, worldly needs contentment, and let us not turn the good things given to us from His generous right hand into evil, but into the glory of His Holy Name and our salvation. Keep, O miraculous saint, with your beneficial prayers the Russian cities, your monastery and the entire Orthodox Russian country unharmed from all evil, and all the people living in the monastery yours and those who come to worship, grant them your heavenly blessings, and in sorrows, misfortunes and illnesses, consolation, deliverance and healing, so that we gratefully praise, praise and We magnify the Lord who has glorified you, who through you has wonderfully benefited us, the Beginningless Father, His Only Begotten Son and His Consubstantial Spirit, the Life-Giving and Indivisible Trinity, and your holy intercession forever and ever. Oh, sacred head, earthly and human angel of heaven, our reverend and God-bearing father Theodosius, a noble servant of the Most Holy Theotokos, in Her holy name the monastery is most wonderful having built on the Pechersk mountains and shining with many miracles in it! We pray to you with zeal in many ways: pray for us to the Lord God and ask us from Him great and rich mercy: right faith, undoubted hope of salvation, love for everyone unhypocritical, unshakable piety, health of soul and body, contentment with the needs of life, and let us not turn the good things given to us from His generous right hand into evil, but into the glory of His holy Name and for our salvation. Save, O saint of God, through the intercession of your saints our country, the Orthodox Russian Church, your city and your Lavra unharmed from all evil, and all the people who flock to worship the honest to your tomb and those who remain in your holy monastery, mercifully deliver the autumn with your heavenly blessing and from all evils and troubles. Most of all, at the hour of our death, show us your many-powerful protection: may we, through your prayers to the Lord, be delivered from the power of the fierce ruler of the world and be able to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. К вам, я́ко к те́плым засту́пником и ско́рым помо́щником и изве́стным предста́телем, прибега́ем мы гре́шнии, смире́нно прося́ще ва́шея по́мощи и заступле́ния, в бе́здне зол и бед погружа́емии, я́же на всяк день и час нам и от челове́к лука́вых приключа́ются, и от духо́в зло́бы поднебе́сныя, всегда́ поги́бели душ и теле́с на́ших и́щущих, нахо́дят на ны. Сего́ ра́ди и мы, столь мно́гими вражде́бными наве́ты, озлобле́ньми и кова́рными злоумышле́ньми отвсю́ду угрожа́емии и тесни́мии, ва́шему те́плому и си́льному по Бо́зе вруча́ем себе́ защище́нию и усе́рдно мо́лим благосты́ню ва́шу: сохрани́те нас неврежде́нных от всех бед и зол, наипа́че же от бесо́вских ко́зней, да не бу́дем им в поруга́ние и посмея́тельство, но та́ко их кре́пкою ва́шею по́мощию от нас отжени́те, я́коже во дни о́ны от оби́тели отгна́сте я, иногда́ па́кости де́явшия. Сицева́я же их неполе́зная укроти́вше на ны возста́ния, та́ко нас утвержде́нных в ве́ре, наде́жде и любви́ соде́лайте, да николи́же на́ми каково́е недоуме́ние или́ сумне́ние возоблада́ет. Чу́вства на́ша душе́вная вку́пе и теле́сная в таково́м благоустрое́нии и боголе́пней ме́рности на всяк день и час удержава́йте и снабдева́йте, да те́ми никогда́же Блага́го и Человеколюби́ваго Бо́га прогне́ваем. Ра́зум уцелому́дрите, да сей па́че о Бо́зе, Его́ вездепрису́тствии и благопромышле́нии помышля́ет, не́же о вре́менных пече́тся. Развраще́нную во́лю на́шу всегда́ исправля́йте, да николи́же хо́щет, е́же хоте́нию Бо́жию сопротивля́ется, но те́ми да уловля́ется и в сих безмяте́жно и безпеча́льно да пребыва́ет, я́же суть Бо́гу уго́дна и прия́тна, челове́ку же спаси́тельна и поле́зна. К сим же, о преподо́бнии отцы́, и оте́чества ва́шего не забыва́йте, но в ми́рнем устрое́нии пребыва́ти ему́ у Престо́ла вели́чества Бо́жия непреста́нно хода́тайствуйте. Вся лю́ди, су́щия в держа́ве на́шей, ми́рны и безпеча́льны сохрани́те и от вся́каго зла́го обстоя́ния вско́ре изба́вите. Егда́ же приспе́ет на́ше от вре́меннаго сего́ жития́ отше́ствие и к ве́чности преселе́ние, си́це нам в по́мощь предста́ните и от наси́лий вра́жиих свободи́те, я́коже предста́сте не́когда Ера́зму мона́ху, в тя́жком сме́ртнем бе́дствии обрета́вшемуся, и та́ко сердца́ на́ша ко и́стинному покая́нию и жале́нию о гресе́х подви́гните, я́коже и о́наго се́рдце подвиго́сте, да и мы в чи́стем со́вести на́шея свиде́тельстве, Пресвяте́й и Нераздели́мей предста́вше Тро́ице, прославля́ем ю ку́пно с ва́ми и все́ми святы́ми в безконе́чныя ве́ки веко́в.
