Who can confess the manifold feats of your life? / Who can count the manifold mercies of God shown by you? / Your boldness is with the Most Pure Mother of God and the All-Bountiful God, / in With tenderness of heart we call to you:/ do not deprive us of your help and intercession, // the saint of Christ and the miracle worker Joasapha.
Oh, Saint Joasaph of Christ, miracle worker of Belograd! We believe, sinners and unworthy ones, that the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are upon their prayer, and for this reason we resort to your prayers and ask your intercession for us, according to the apostolic verb with hope, as if your love no longer falls away. In our sins and illnesses we have become like smoking flax and broken reeds, and while we live, we live by the grace of God and through the prayers of His righteous One. Then, O righteous father, incline your heart to our prayer, and through your intercession give peace and blessing to the Christian race from the Lord. Strengthen Orthodoxy, and drive away the attacks of the evil and lawless on the Church of God. Pray to the Heavenly Father to deliver us from enemy invasion, from civil strife and national turmoil, from destructive pestilences and deadly plagues, from famine, fire, flood and other troubles and circumstances. Ask Christ our God for strength for our souls and the health we need for our bodies, and healing for sickness: walking for the lame, sight for the blind, strengthening for the weak, consolation for the sad and deliverance from all sorrows. Then unite the fallen vines of Christ with the branches of Christ, even if you yourself are a partaker of this being, so that the most honorable and magnificent name of our God may be glorified by you, Father and Son and Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Oh, great saint of Christ, our holy father Joasapha, quick helper and wondrous miracle worker! Look mercifully upon us who are ill. We confess, O servant of Christ, with our lips and hearts we confess that because of our deeds, misfortune has befallen us. Together with the prudent thief, we confess to the Lord that we accept her worthy deed, and we tolerate this evil one like a servant. With these temporary torments the merciful Lord crushes our pride and hard-necked heart, so that we may escape the eternal punishment prepared for the sinner: for sowing the seeds of life self-willed and we reap the thorns of sorrows. Both beings are weak, but having come to warm repentance, we dare to pray for this, so that the wrath of the Lord may be transferred to mercy on us, and to you, the saint of God and miracle worker, we earnestly ask: pour out your warm prayer to Christ our Lord, Whom you stand today and pray for those who honor you with love and humble trust in your intercession. Behold, in your life, O Saint of Christ, you have not scorned a single thing, asking for your mercy or confessing your sins. Pray to the Righteous Judge, that He may turn the wrath of His righteousness into our mercy. By His grace, given to you, merciful saint, heal our infirmities, set aside cruel diseases, command us to avert death, and grant us strength for repentance. Support old age, educate babies, maintain chastity in youth, establish marriages in purity and humility, grant us all hardworking obedience and peaceful living through your prayer, and let us persevere through The feat of this present life that lies before us, looking to the Author of the faith and Finisher of the Lord Jesus, to Him be glory forever and ever. Oh, great saint of ours and wonder-worker of great Joasapha, quick helper to those who come to you! Mercifully look upon us, unworthy, who pray here with tears of tenderness and offer thanks to you to the best of our ability. We thank you, servant of Christ, for you heard the prayers of us unworthy and granted us abundantly when we asked. With our lips and lips we confess that you are truly a warm prayer-book for Christ and, according to the grace and gift given by you, you grant for the salvation we all need: you heal the sick, you heal the suffering you pour out comfort, peace and consolation to sorrowful hearts, create joy for those who cry, make sad ones rejoice: congratulate the parent of a child, the spouse of a friend from the deathbed you restore, you pacify the hostile, you show mercy to the envious, and you punish all untruths, just as you were a courageous zealot in your life of truth and mercy. This is a great and festive day, your day of glorification on earth, to our holy father Joasaph, to our land there is glory and great joy, accept this humble and warm prayer ours. Today we see the fulfillment of the verb of the Lord: I will glorify those who glorify Me. Therefore, in the days of your earthly life, you sought nothing, but to fulfill the will of God and guide the children of your flock for salvation, and for this, much labor, sorrow, You suffered from illness and travel. After your death, glorify you, the merciful Lord, who bestowed incorruptibility and healing powers on your body; Moreover, You exuded currents of healing to those who prayed, and You appeared many times to those who called upon the sick and mourning, and quickly provided consolation and healing. For this reason, as you are the chosen one of Divine grace, the Church of Christ glorify you as the new wonderworker of our earth. Bless and have mercy on the bishop of the true God, Orthodox people. Grant them consolation of heart, consolation and peace and everlasting joy in the Lord. Preserve the Russian state in the world and strengthen its people in the truth, grant unshakable courage to warriors and preserve all people without sorrow. Eliminate all sedition and destroy the councils of seditious people, and bring those same ones to repentance. Give wisdom, purity and righteous life to the shepherd and bishop, just as you yourself were adorned with these. Give a good upbringing to babies, teach them to the young, ask for health for those who are sick and grieving. Give patience and hope to those who labor, give humility to the rich and give mercy to your neighbors. Grant us all everlasting joy in the Lord, and let us all be grateful to you, saying this: we magnify you, holy Father Joasaph, and honor the holy memory yours, you pray for us, Christ our God.
