Herald of the path of salvation, / confessor and archpastor of the Crimean land, / true keeper of fatherly traditions, / unshakable pillar, teacher of Orthodoxy, / godly physician, saint Luke,/continually prayed to Christ the Savior/to grant the unshakable faith to the Orthodox //salvation and great mercy.
Like an all-bright star, shining with virtues,/ you were a saint,/ you created a soul equal to an angel,/ for this reason, for the sake of the priesthood, you are honored with the dignity,/ in exile from the godless many suffered, / and remained unshakable in faith, / with medical wisdom, you healed many things. / Moreover, now your honest body, wondrously found from the depths of the earth, glorify the Lord, / yes All the faithful cry out to you:/ Rejoice, Father to St. Luke,// Praise and affirmation to the Crimean lands.
Oh, Saint Luke, confessor and servant of Christ! Hear us, sinners, who with tenderness fall before the race of your honest and multi-healing relics, and bring our prayer to the Merciful God, Lover of Mankind, to Him you are now with all the saints coming. Ask from Christ our God, for whom everyone needs a gift and everything that is useful for salvation, that he may confirm us in the Orthodox faith and piety, as if we have got rid of the wiles of the evil one, we will escape all enmity, disorder, heresies and schisms.
Oh, generous healer and gratuitous doctor! Heal with the grace given to you from God the ulcers of our souls and bodies, so that we may not leave this temporary life unhealed, but may we present ourselves clean and blameless to the Throne of God, glorifying the Father and Son and Holy Spirit forever and ever. Oh, all-blessed confessor, our holy saint Luke, the great saint of Christ. With tenderness we bend the knee of our hearts, and falling to the race of your honest and multi-healing relics, like the child of our father, we pray to you with all our hearts: hear us sinners and bring our prayer to the Merciful and Humane-loving God. To him you now stand in the joy of the saints and stand before him as an angel. We believe that you love us with the same love that you loved all your neighbors while you were on earth. Ask Christ our God to confirm His children in the spirit of right faith and piety: may He give the shepherds holy zeal and care for the salvation of the people entrusted to them: the right To keep the believers, to strengthen the weak and infirm in the faith, to instruct the ignorant, to reprove the contrary. Give us all a gift that is useful to everyone, and everything that is useful for temporary life and eternal salvation. Establishment of our cities, fruitful lands, deliverance from famine and destruction. Comfort for those who mourn, healing for those who are sick, return to the path of truth, blessing for parents, education and teaching for children in the fear of the Lord, help for the orphaned and needy intercession. Grant us all your archpastoral blessing, so that if we have such prayerful intercession, we will get rid of the wiles of the evil one and avoid all enmity and disorder, heresies and schisms.
