The truthful passion-bearer/ and the true Gospel of Christ the listener,/ the chaste Roman with the kindly David,/ not resisting the enemy of the present brother,/ who kills your body,/ your souls I cannot touch./ Let the evil power-hungry weep,/ but you, rejoicing from the faces of the Angels,/ stand before the Holy Trinity,/ pray for the power of your relatives, to be pleasing to God,// and the sons of Russia will be saved.
Even if they were killed quickly and laid in graves, / but on the Higher Kingdom, they passed on, / for you brought copies of the other, / like a gentle lamb, you slaughtered with a knife, / and so your blood was quickly healing to the world, // by faith calling you, saints, to help.
Oh, sacred duo, beautiful brothers, noble passion-bearers Boris and Gleb, who from their youth served Christ with faith, purity and love, and with their blood, as adorned with scarlet, and now reign with Christ! Do not forget us who are on earth, but, as warm intercessors, by your strong intercession before Christ God, preserve the young in the holy faith and purity, unharmed from any admonition of unbelief. and uncleanness, protect us all from all sorrow, bitterness and needless death, tame all enmity and malice, raised by the action of the devil from neighbors and strangers. We pray to you, Christ-loving passion-bearers, ask the Great Gift of the Master for forgiveness of our sins, unanimity and health, deliverance from the invasion of foreigners, internecine warfare, ulcers and famine. Provide your intercession to our country and to all who honor your holy memory, forever and ever. Amen.
