The stones are sealed from the Jews / and the warriors guarding Your Most Pure Body, / You have risen on the third day, O Savior, / granting life to the world. / Therefore, for the sake of the power of heaven, we cry out to Ty, O Life-Giver: / glory to Thy resurrection, O Christ, / glory to Thy Kingdom, / glory to Thy sight, the only One who loves mankind.
The Troparion of the 1st Tone says that even the harsh guards at the Holy Sepulcher did not prevent Jesus Christ from rising from the dead on the third day, giving life to the world. Therefore, the Heavenly Forces glorify the Lord, the Lover of Mankind.

You have risen like God from the grave in glory, / and you have resurrected the world with you; / and human nature glorifies Thee like God, and death has disappeared; / Adam rejoices, Master; / Eve, now freed from her bonds, rejoices, calling: / You are the one who gives the resurrection to everyone, O Christ.
The kontakion of the 1st tone speaks of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the tomb and the disappearance of death, which all humanity rejoices in together with Adam and Eve.

The troparion of the 3rd tone glorifies the Savior as having trampled death by His Resurrection, the firstborn from the dead, and contains a call to those praying to rejoice and be glad with the whole world.
Thou hast risen this day from the grave, O Generous One, / and thou hast raised us up from the gates of death; / Today Adam rejoices, and Eve rejoices, / and the prophets and patriarchs sing unceasingly / to the divine power of Your power.
The kontakion of the 3rd tone glorifies the Merciful Lord, who with His Resurrection brought us out of the gates of death.
The disciples of the Lord heard the bright resurrection / from the Angel / and rejected the ancestral condemnation, / the apostle boasted of the verb: / death was proven, / Christ is risen God, / grant great mercy to the world.
Troparion 4 Tone mentions the myrrh-bearing women, who were the first mortals to learn about the miracle of the Resurrection and reported it to the apostles.
My Savior and Deliverer / from the grave, like God, / resurrected from the bonds of earthly birth, / and crushed the gates of hell, / and like the Lord is risen for three days.
In the kontakion of the 4th tone, it is sung about the Savior, who freed humanity from shackles, crushed the gates of hell and rose again on the third day.
The co-meaning Word of the Father and the Spirit, / born of the Virgin for our salvation, / let us sing, faithfully, and worship, / for it was good for the flesh to ascend to the cross, / and endure death, / and resurrect the dead / by His glorious resurrection.

In the troparion of the 6th tone, it is sung about the consternation of the guards who guarded the tomb and saw the appearance of the Angels, and about Christ’s disciple, Mary Magdalene, who came to look for the dead body of the Lord and did not find it.
With the life-giving hand / who died from the dark lot, / the Giver of Life, having raised all Christ God, / the resurrection was given to the human race: / there is a Savior of all, / the resurrection and life, and God of all.
Kontakion of the 6th tone praises the Giver of life, Christ God, who granted the resurrection to the entire human race.
With Your Cross You destroyed death, / You opened Paradise to the thief, / You offered lament to the myrrh-bearers, / And You commanded the Apostle to preach, / For He has risen Thou art, O Christ God, / granting the world / great mercy.
The troparion of the 7th tone says that the Lord crushed death with His Cross, opened paradise to the thief, sent the apostles to preach, giving great mercy to the world.
No mortal power / will be able to hold people: / For Christ came down, crushing and ruining its powers; / there is hell, / the prophets rejoice in agreement, / the Savior appears, saying, to those who are in faith: / come forth, O faithful ones, to the resurrection.
The kontakion of the 7th tone says that death no longer has power over people, because Jesus Christ destroyed it.
You have descended from the heights, O Blessed Mother, / You have accepted the burial of three days, / May you free us from passions, / Our life and resurrection. Lord, glory to You.
The Troparion of the 8th Tone tells about the earthly incarnation of the Son of God and His three-day stay in the tomb for the salvation of mankind.
You have risen from the grave, You have raised up the dead, / and You have raised Adam, / and Eve rejoices in Your resurrection, / and the ends of the world are triumphant / even from the dead by Your rising, Much merciful.
Kontakion of the 8th tone reminds us that by His Resurrection the Lord freed the dead and raised Adam, about which Eve and the whole world rejoice.
